GREEN
I was born among the roots And I’ve got in my veins the sap Of animals and plants.
I live among the creatures Of the earth and of the world.
I help the divine work Of God and of Men.
I make life grow And I care So that water doesn’t run short And the cold doesn’t burn.
My senses Mix up with the smell Of the earth of your look And with your shaky voice.
When the Sun and the Wind Heat the ground and the birds Men call me Dolphin.
But everybody knows That I am… THE GARDENER.
